Amul

Amul derived from Sanskrit word –Amulya, means invaluable. It is name of dairy cooperative in India founded in 1946. It is brand name, which is managed by Indian cooperative organization, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. Amul is the largest food brand in India and world largest pouched milk brand with having 2.2 UD$ billion annual turnover as on 2011. GCMMF (AMUL) has the largest distribution network for any FMCG company.

Amul is also a largest exporter of dairy products in country and available in more then 40 countries across the world. Amul is exporting wide range of products such as Clarified Butter (Ghee) and Indigenous Sweets, Cottage Cheese (Paneer) and Milk Powder so on.
