Cairn India Ltd

Cairn India is engaged in oil and gas exploration and production. The company was founded in 1979 and listed in the London Stock Exchange in 1988 cairn has been operating since 20 years and playing an important role in developing the oil and gas resources in the country.

As on 2004, it was listed on Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. Today, Cairn India has operations in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and in Rajasthan. In Gujarat it operates 2 processing plants, 11 platforms and more than 200 km of sub-sea pipelines with a production of approx. 50,000 bopd.
