Cochin Airport (Nedumbassery International Airport)

Cochin International Airport is a largest airport in the state of Kerala. It is situated in Nedumbassery and about 25 kms northeast of Kochi, Kerala. In FY 20011-12, it is 4th biggest airport in terms of international passenger traffic carrying. Cochin Airport is the first airport in India, which developed under public-private partnership. The airport handles about 800 aircraft per week and more then 10,000 passengers every day. It is connected nationally and internationally with 8 domestic airlines and 16 international airlines.

The airport recently consists three terminals as domestic, international and cargo terminal. The cargo terminal is a largest facility in country with total floor space of 120,100 sq ft in 50 acres of the land.
