DD Direct+ is a free direct-to home that offers satellite television and audio programming for households and businesses in India. Honorable Prime Minister of India began this service in 2004 by using INSAT-4B Satellite at 93.5º E. Its major competitors are cable TV and DTH service provider as Dish TV, Sun Direct, and Tata Sky. DD Direct+ provide 57 TV channels and 23 radio channels, out of which 22 are based on DD itself and rest of are private channels. For DD Direct+ you don’t need to pay any monthly charge. You need only one time payment that is of purchasing charge of set top box, dish antenna and other used equipment.
