Hyderabad International Airport also known as Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located about 20 km far from south of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It is an international airport and named after former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi.
In FY 2011-12, it is 6th largest airport in country in terms of international as well as overall passenger traffic. In 2012 it was the top airport of the world in airport service quality. The different airlines such as Air Arabia, Air India, British Airway, Jet Konnect, IndiGo, Kingfisher Airlines,Jet Airways etc provide passenger service to domestic as well as international destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Bangalore and more in India and Dubai, London, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok etc outside India. It is totally operated by Airports Authority of India.
