after installing iball software .. my antivirus stopped working

i bought iball tv18 tv tuner from flipkart .. as soon as i got it i installed in my laptop ... everything works fine but my antivirus stops working ... 0x000007b error unable to open mcafee

pls help , want both tv tuner nd antivirus

My net modem is not connecting with my laptop which is having ubuntu Operating System

I purchased iball 3.5G net connect modem few days before. I am trying to connect it with my laptop which is having ubuntu Operating System. After plug-in it to the ubuntu system it is not connecting with internet. This modem is plug and play but after plugging it nothing is displaying to the system.
Can I expect step-by-step method to connect this modem with my ubuntu system?

I was submitted faulty UPS which was under warranty and battery out of warranty on 6th December 2012 at iball service center kalyan west on 7th December i was received a call " stating that UPS battery is defective whenever my computer engineer was checked and told that inverter system was defective. I was replied them that if you confirm that battery is UNSB than you should replace battery but actual defective battery should be return to me at the time of repaired UPS delivery. And he was told me that charge of battery replacement and repair Rs 750/- .
