IndiaFirst Life Insurance

IndiaFirst Life Insurance is a joint venture two of India’s public sector bank named Bank of Baroda having 44% stake and Andhra Bank and Legal & General having 30%, 26% stake respectively. It was founded in 2009 with head office in Mumbai. IndiaFirst Life Insurance has started its operation via Bank of Baroda in more then 3000 branches.

The company has wide range of plan including pension, heath and wealth plans. It has initial product included like savings, education, retirement and term insurance and also has group insurance products such as gratuity and leave encasement, credit life etc. as in 2011, the company has more then 1200 employees.
