Iomega

Iomega is an American company producing portable, external and networking storage hardware. It was launched in 1980 and has sold more then 400 million digital storage disks. Its current product series includes multimedia drives, external hard drives, REV backup drive and removable storage technology. Starting Iomega products connected to computer by SCSI or parallel port and now are based USB and FireWire.

In 2000, the company introduced first external CD-RW drive and launched HipZip digital audio player. In 2010, it had launched skin hard drive.
