MRF

Madras Rubber Factory popularly known by MRF is a major tyre manufacturing company situated in Chennai. Later its famous by Manorama Rubber Factory. MRF involve in making vehicle tyres and is India’s largest tyre manufacturing company. Mr K M Mammen was the founder of MRF.

MRF soon in 1955 become India owned unit to manufacture non-blooming and cushion backed tread rubber and was market leaders with 50% share of tread rubber market in India. In 1967, MRF was very first Indian company to export Tyres to USA. As in 2011, it had gained Rs. 10,000 crones revenue and launched 7th manufacturing facility at Ankanpally near Hyderabad especially for radial tyres.
