New India Assurance Company

The New India Assurance Company is a one of the five public sector insurance company and of largest general insurance company of India by sense of gross premium collection of foreign operations. It is founded in 1919 and being nationalized in 1973. It is performing operations in both India and foreign countries, which has 1100 offices spread throughout 19 countries. Recently in 2011, its global gross premium raise more then Rs. 860 crores. New India Assurance has range of products as public liability, motor vehicle, material damage, marine insurance, house and statutory liability. In respect to number of offices abroad and premium earned from foreign operations, the company is much ahead in general insurance companies in India.
