Plantronics is a publicly traded electronics company manufacturing audio communications equipment for consumers and business. It has head office situated in Santa Cruz, California with offices in 20 countries, including major facilities in England, China, Mexico, and the Netherlands.

The wide ranges of company products are sold by network of system integrators, resellers, retailers and mobile carriers. In 1962, the company had introduce first lightweight communication headset MS-50 to the commercial marketplace. In 2005, Plantronics acquired Octiv, Inc as one of its brand and named it as Volume Logic division.
