Sir Ganga Ram Hospital

Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is a multi - speciality hospital in New Delhi. Sir Ganga Ram, who was a philanthropist & civil engineer of his times, founded it in 1921 at Lahore. It provides medical services to patients and is one of the healthcare institutions in India. It has about 250 consultant doctors and more then 145 resident doctors, in all appx. 40 departments. The Sir Ganga Ram Hospital has allowed 20% beds for financially weaker patients. On these beds all facilities like lodging, investigations, medicine and operative procedures are free of cost. The government and other external part are not involved in the hospital's funding.
