IRCTC website not accessable since 21/5/2011 9.00 pm IRCTC, Indian Railway Online Booking Complaint

This is the most difficult time I have had since internet bookings of railway tickets became a reality.
I want to book a family outing from Mumbai to nanded on 6th july'12 for which I have been trying to access the internet from my Home & from office since 21st may till this instance. But to my dismay the site is so slow that it generally gets timed out by the time one logs in.
If onegets lucky with the login, the timeout occours by the time one fills all the details of the journeyand selects the train and the class of travel
Its disgusting that we are spending time, energy and resources without results.

Is it acceptable?
