No replacement of damaged PCB, even at cost Altec Lansing, Computer Speakers - MX6021EU Complaint

I had purchased a set of speakers - Altec Lansing MX6021EU for a price of nearly Rs. 9000 from a local dealer in Chennai. The piece turned out to be defective when I went home and tested it. On speaking to the dealer, he directed me to the service centre. Since I live in Bnagalore, I took it to the authorised service center in Bangalore - Rashi Peripherals. They opened the set and repaired one of the leads that had come loose. The speakers then worked fine for a month, and then to my surprise, the effect from the woofers reduced drastically. I took it to the service center again. They took a cursory look at the piece and said there was no problem with the piece. Despite repeated protests saying that the effect had reduced, they refused to do anything, claiming no problems. Exasperated, I took the set back home, and that very same day, the speakers completely stopped working. I took them back again to the service center - the third time in 1.5 months - they opened the set and said the PCB was burnt due to some power spike. They then took pictures of the same and spoke to the company people, asking if there would be any replacement. The reply came back the next day, saying that not only would they not replace my set of speakers, they will not even supply the spare parts for the same. Utterly ridiculous service and total waste of Rs. 9000. I intend to take this matter to court.
